Ok, let’s get this out of the way first. There was no show today therefore there wasn’t/isn’t a podcast of it either (it’s really hard to make a podcast out of something you didn’t air and record in the first place). Some other events in my life prohibited me from doing a show this morning.
Second, I will be live blogging an average day at PDX.FM tomorrow morning starting at 7AM (stopping only long enough to do Portland Sucks at 8AM – I can’t really do both at the same time unfortunately) and running until about 5PM. Is it a stunt? Sure it is, but it’s also a response of sorts to the seemingly endless numbers of resumes that we receive on a daily basis now. As we move forward we think it’d be good for you to know exactly what you’d be getting yourself into. Working here sucks and our jobs are completely anti-fun – you’ll know the pain and agony of what we go through each and every day once you read the live blog, believe me. It’s hell. The walls are even painted red.
Last but not least… Friday we have two, two, TWO guests on Portland Sucks in a special two-part episode starting at 8am and ending sometime before seniors Cort and Fatboy go on at 10AM. First, we talk to Erica Easley of Red Light Clothing about their upcoming Annual Naked Co-Op Shopping Spree. Then, at 9AM, we have Nathaniel Boggess who is doing some live storytelling at ENTERTAINMENT FOR PEOPLE, one of them supernifty Back Fence PDX variety shows – this one is at The Woods on Thursday, February 25th. We’ll have some tickets to give away during the show.
And… I think that’s all for now. Keep those cards and letters coming and all of that nonsense…
RW
