Last night at midnight the blog automatically posted what I thought was a dead and unpublished post from a month ago. Instead of saving it as a draft, apparently I scheduled it to post all by itself a full month later.
My apologies to Sabrina Miller, her job is not available – I am just dumb.
A month ago, the future of Portland Sucks was a little bit in doubt. My major concern throughout a completely hellish week was Sabrina’s livelihood. Fortunately, she was able to quickly find work at a station in Denver and she gave some thought to taking the job anyway as it would have brought her closer to her family. Fortunately (for me) she ended up declining the position at the last minute.
The post that came up last night at midnight was something that I had wrote while under the assumption that I needed to find someone else to do the show with. How it ended up getting scheduled to post at a later date rather than just deleted, I have no clue. I blame editing the blog on iPhone. iPhone says this isn’t the case and that I’m a dumbshit.

YAY!!! I was going to start a petition!
Robert,
I love your show and enjoy the blog as well. You and Sabrina have talent. WRT advertising, let me share how I found you, it was though Oregon Media Central. I think mentions in other blogs and media will do the trick. Try to get listed on as many blogrolls as you can, I can say I’ve visited every blog on your blogroll. I moved to Fort Collins,CO in March and your show keeps me connected to Portland in a small but important cultural way.
Mike
Thanks Mike, I appreciate hearing that. How’s Fort Collins? I haven’t been there in … hell, probably 8 or 9 years now. Fond memories of the Greyhound station, that’s about it. Actually met some Portlanders there (was heading back to Seattle, where I lived at the time) that were pretty cool. Hanging out with those people for a 24+ hour bus ride was one of the things that got me convinced that I needed to move here…. Just quite a few years later.
Yeah, that’s the strangest thing. I had a number of Tweets come through from friends that I’m pretty sure I read about a month ago. I noticed a few others who mentioned it as well. I’m guessing it’s on Twitter’s end.
