Radio and “Old White Guys” Rears It’s Ugly Head Again… And Nary A Woman In Sight.

So this morning I’m engineering “The Advertising Life”, one of the myriad shows we do here. Today’s guest was David Martin, who you might say has just a little bit of experience in radio, having been Vice President & General Manager at CBS/Infinity at one point. We’re only about 12 minutes into the show and Mr. Martin exclaims (about radio) “I think it’s old white guys that are destroying the business.”

UPDATE: A few emails have come in suggesting that perhaps maybe Mr. Martin had been coaxed into his comment about “old white guys” before the program aired. Nope. Sorry. That’s all him.
