Jury to Freedom Child: “No Free Ride For You, You Dirty Hippie”

by RobertWagner on March 19, 2009

A federal jury came to the quick conclusion that the two Portland police officers accused in the scam lawsuit incident involving freaky St. John’s area hippie “Freedom Child” are not guilty of any wrongdoing, instantly crushing her (and her lawyers) dreams of a hefty cash payout.

Freedom Child said of the verdict “I can hardly talk right now. It’s so disturbing.”, followed by “Hey, don’t bogart that joint”.

For those that still care, and I’m sure there are 3 or 4 of you, Freedom Child accused two Portland police officers of violating her civil rights back in 2003 in an arrest worthy of discussion for all time. To summarize: Lady rode bike illegally, police questioned lady about bike and tried to issue citation, lady took off running, police chased lady, lady fought back violently for no good reason, police arrested lady. In this case, picture the “victim” was a true 60’s flower child suffering from 40 years of arrested development and a disturbing paranoia and mistrust of authority – that should sum it up for you.

Thankfully, the jury saw this for what it was – a blatant money-grab by a sadly unemployable antique and her opportunistic fuck of a lawyer. I can almost hear the pitch now … “It’s Portland! They’ll practically BEG you to take the money we’ll win!” and Freedom Child replying “Now I won’t have to sell my crappy art at those fairs anymore, I can spend my time studying the brilliant works of Jefferson Airplane – why, I might even try to get a CD player!”.

Peace, bitch.

Is it impossible to believe for you that these could be dirty cops? Is there no such thing in your mind? Cops are people and Freedom is a person and all people lie sometimes so maybe this is one of those times. They could be guilty and you wouldn’t know it.

Whoa, dirty hippie? That’s harsh.

Hey, the cops here suck, and there’s nothing wrong with a paranoia, girls are taught to run from men, especially at night and they should have identified themselves better. I don’t believe the cops when they testified that Freedoms said, “I don’t like cops”. And as for her name, her parents named her. Maybe she had personal reasons why she chose to keep her name, even though it causes her ridicule.

She’s a brave lady. Pretty idealistic, granted, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Her lawyer took the case. I hope his services were free. I hear he’s a real number One Asshole, too. Real egotistical to clients. But I think Freedom may have controlled this case, given her legal assistant background. Was her hair silver when this incident happened to her?

You can tell Freedom is a good person. She’s into good causes, is gentle on the earth and hopefully we’ll learn from this. Turn on your light bike riders. Identify yourselves clearly and immediately, officers of da law.

Peace Out,
Lucky Girl
