What do you think? Too harsh a title? I don’t think so. Our bumbling buffoon Governor and his sense-lacking lackeys have made it pretty clear that they don’t prioritize education nearly as highly as the rest of the country. Yes, the economy sucks Ted, but raising a generation of education deficient children isn’t likely to help Oregon down the road. Why is it that a lot of other states are putting education first, as a must-have priority, and you’re still promoting bullshit tax breaks for bullshit “green” companies? It’s common knowledge around here that just about anyone can rape and pillage their way out of legitimate taxation with illegitimate green tax credit abuse. Shit can that idea and do some quick math and you’ll see that there’s more than enough money to keep kids in schools for a full school year.
This isn’t at all about lacking the funds for public schools. This is about a hack politician trying everything he possibly can to land himself in the history books with his prized so-called “innovative and progressive” form of government. He’s a glory seeker of the highest order and he couldn’t care less about fucking parents, teachers, and students in the collective ass. Would it be such a bad thing to strive to be the governor that led his state through the worst recession of our times? I know that might require some work and use of your oh-so-precious rainy day fund but if this isn’t a rainy fucking day then I don’t know what is.
