For all of the Top 10, Top 30, and Top whatever statistics that local media throw out there (i.e. “First Gay Mayor of a Top 30 City” or “First Gay Mayor Sex Scandal in a Top 30 City”), the one they seem to downplay the most is the one I’m most proud of. Sadly, we’ve lost the title. Portland is now no longer the city with the most strip clubs in Oregon and Oregon is now no longer the state with the most strip clubs in the U.S.
We’ve got to stand together in this solemn moment, gather strength, and then do whatever it takes to take the trophy back. If we can’t achieve this then we can’t achieve anything. Be strong fellow Portlanders. Show the world that we love our T&A.
