Steve Duin: One Man Stands in the Way of The Oregonian Going Full Retard

Who knew that behind that 70’s porno-looking mustache and rugged exterior actually lies a brain? I’m talking about Steve Duin at The Oregonian, the solitary voice of sanity and reason at a publication that acts more like a kindergarten than a news source. While the rest of his peers are calling for everything short of the beheading of Mayor Sam Adams, Steve Duin has a better idea, an idea that I wish I had come up with in fact. An idea that should be used to determine the fate of our fine gay mayor.

I won’t go into too many details, you really should just read Steve’s article for yourself. It’s well written and I think it fairly balances the needs of both sides of the “should he stay or should he go?” argument. It isn’t surprising that this idea was thought up, no, what IS surprising is that someone on The Oregonian staff actually wrote this. The Oregonian has been hyper-critical of Sam Adams, so much so that I consider them 95% to blame for this smear campaign and all in the name of drama alone.

Steve, my hat is off to you (on a very cold day where I’d just as soon keep my head warm I might add). You are a shiny copper penny in a 17 pound pile of wet puppy diarrhea. Call your boss, tell him I said to give you a raise – you’re obviously the only reporter at The Oregonian that bothers to think before you type.
