In a very Un-Oregon-like act of common sense, The Oregon Parole Board today DENIED parole Oregon’s most insanely evil mother, Elizabeth Diane Downes. I won’t run at the mouth about this one except to say that I am extremely proud to live in this fine state today and the Parole Board is about 10% closer to restoring my faith in the justice system (they still have about 80% left to go but progress is progress). I’ve calculated that it costs me personally about 1/10th of a penny in tax dollars every year to keep that bitch in the slammer. I’d now like to offer the other 9/10ths of that same penny toward the purchase of a beer for each parole board member.
I say again, D-E-N-I-E-D! Yes!!
