OregonLive.com can’t spell the Governor’s name correctly.

by RobertWagner on November 10, 2008

In yet another flagrantly moronic move, OregonLive.com proved once again today that they’re completely unfit to perform even the most simple of news media tasks by misspelling Governor Ted Kulongoski’s last name TWICE on their website (see image at right). We’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here, the misspelling probably carries from the home page over to the actual article page so it’s probably just one misspelling but come on people – how can I trust you to report the fucking news if I can’t trust you to spell the last names of prominent local politicians?

We’re going to conduct a seriously unscientific survey of 5th graders over the next couple of weeks to see whether or not OregonLive.com and its staff of flunkeys could make good game show fodder.

Here’s a link to the original article, hopefully they’ll correct it… Oh wait, that would require effort and we know they’re not interested in fixing anything on their website because the damn live streaming police scanner they feature hasn’t worked in months (and I even downloaded and installed the extremely EVIL RealPlayer to try to listen to it – thanks a lot).
